Looking at Life as a School of Experience

I'm 55 so way past the "back to school" experiences of my youth.

As a spiritual being having a physical experience, though, I've had many, many, many (did I say many?) experiences of the end of one level of lessons and training and the beginning of another level.

In many ways, the path of spiritual learning follows the same path as traditional schooling, up to a point....

Most of us start out with whatever spiritual view we inherit from our family unit.

At some point, most of us question some aspects of reality as presented in our family unit and strike out (or graduate) to another level of exploring life that is more individual.

Each time we go back to school in the school of life, the curriculum is different, the lessons are different and we learn new things.

Then, at some point, some of us become aware that we've graduated the school of life altogether.  It's time for the graduation party and it's time to start living the life we trained for all those years.

I'm not going back to school.  Got my diploma and now, just gonna enjoy living life.
