I love the laughter of the children, the rustling sound of wrapping paper, the festive colors, the reunion of friends and family not seen all year and yes, oh, yes, that Christmas meal that everyone devours.

What dampens all of that joy to the point of dread is the travel.  The traffic is a nightmare, the roads are often snowy or icy somewhere along the route home and the price of gas makes grown men sob at the pump on long trips.

So .... all I want for Christmas is a teleportation machine or time travel chair.

This machine or chair should be big enough to accommodate my sleeping in it as well as comfortably stowing away all the Christmas presents somewhere other than below my feet or behind my seat or wedged in every corner.

A beverage bar and snack area would also be a nice touch.
